What is SVT?

Sorbent Ventilation Technology (SVT) uses gas phase air cleaning to remove CO2 and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) effectively lowering the outdoor air requirement in our ventilation calculation. Using SVT in combination with the Indoor Air Quality Procedure (IAQP) as defined by ASHRAE 62.1 can yield the same or better indoor air quality while simultaneously reducing building energy consumption by up to 30%.

ASHRAE 62.1

With SVT, engineers can use the ASHRAE 62.1 Indoor Air Quality Procedure (IAQP), which often reduces the amount of outdoor air required while maintaining the same or better indoor air quality as the traditional Ventilation Rate Procedure (VRP).
